Terms of service

Goodfit is an experimental private project. These terms explain acceptable use, change risk, data-loss risk, and owner protections.

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These terms govern use of Goodfit, an experimental research-stage project operated by a private individual based in Belgium. By using the service, creating an account, submitting a project, submitting or claiming a provider profile, buying a listing, or contacting a provider through the site, you agree to these terms.

Experimental private project

Goodfit is not a mature commercial SaaS platform. It is a private project used to test whether organizations can be matched with suitable service providers. Features, ranking logic, content, profile format, URLs, forms, pricing, availability, and business model may change at any time.

You accept that the service may be interrupted, inaccurate, incomplete, restructured, or discontinued. We may change, suspend, archive, delete, merge, unpublish, or rewrite content and functionality as the project evolves.

Data-loss warning

We use reasonable safeguards, but this stage is fragile. Accounts, submissions, project briefs, matches, bookmarks, profile claims, drafts, analytics records, and other content may be lost, corrupted, overwritten, deleted, or become unavailable during product changes, migrations, experiments, vendor outages, security incidents, abuse handling, or manual cleanup. Keep your own copy of anything important.

Directory and matching information

Provider profiles, screenshots, categories, service areas, descriptions, rankings, badges, and recommendations are informational only. They may come from public sources, user submissions, automated processing, manual review, provider claims, or experiments. We do not guarantee that provider information is accurate, current, lawful, complete, suitable, or available.

Goodfit does not endorse a provider merely by listing it, ranking it, showing it in a match, or allowing contact through the site. Organizations are responsible for their own due diligence, procurement decisions, contracts, compliance checks, security reviews, payments, and outcomes.

Domain-specific terms notice

These domain and jurisdiction notes are provided as clear, good-faith guidance and are kept deliberately conservative while the project is in its launch phase. They are general information rather than formal legal advice, and we refine them over time as the project develops.

goodfit.eu is the European umbrella domain. Its eu extension is used for cross-border European discovery, early validation, and lawyer-reviewable baseline copy before any country-specific rollout is treated as final.

Launch operations: During launch, claims, support, privacy, and legal/removal handling for this domain remain centralized through goodfit.eu and mail.goodfit.eu. Use the provider-page correction/removal form, or [email protected] if the form is unavailable; claim verification email may come from [email protected].

Use of goodfit.eu is still governed by the general Goodfit terms, with Belgium law as the baseline except where mandatory rules in European Union or another relevant region require otherwise. The eu domain is a European routing and discovery signal, not a promise that profiles, matching, availability, support, or translations are complete for every European country.

Your responsibilities

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Submit false, misleading, unlawful, confidential, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Impersonate someone else, claim a profile without authority, or misrepresent a provider.
  • Scrape, overload, probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
  • Upload malware, spam, or content that violates another person’s rights.
  • Use provider contact channels for harassment, bulk outreach, spam, or unlawful marketing.
  • Submit sensitive personal data or secrets unless we expressly ask for them.

Submitted content and profile corrections

If you submit content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, edit, summarize, translate, display, index, analyze, and use that content to operate, protect, improve, and promote the service. This license lets the project function; you keep any rights you already have.

If profile content is wrong, outdated, unfair, or should be removed, the primary route is the correction/removal action on the provider page. For the launch period, claim, support, privacy, and legal/removal handling is centralized through goodfit.eu and mail.goodfit.eu across all Goodfit domains. You can also email [email protected] if the form is unavailable or your request concerns account, privacy, or legal rights beyond a single provider profile. If you represent a provider and want its profile removed, use the provider-page form or email from an address at the provider's own website or company domain and state that you are asking us to remove that specific provider. Tell us whether you want a provider profile removed, specific provider or user data removed, or provider/user metadata corrected or removed, such as categories, tags, service areas, screenshots, contact links, claim details, or notes. For copyright, trademark, or other rights complaints about submitted or profile content, use the contact page or email [email protected]. Include the page URL, the provider name, the requested change, and the reason or source. We review reasonable corrections, objections, and removal requests practically and respectfully, especially where the request concerns personal data, business reputation, or safety.

Accounts, access, and removal

We may refuse, limit, suspend, or remove access, accounts, submissions, listings, claims, ads, or content at any time when we believe it is needed to protect the project, users, providers, data quality, security, legal interests, or the owner. We may also remove or change content because the project changes direction.

Paid features and ads

If paid listings, ads, sponsorships, or other paid features are offered, their availability and format may change. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, payment does not guarantee traffic, leads, ranking, conversions, continued publication, or a permanent feature set. Mandatory consumer, refund, tax, and payment rights continue to apply where the law requires.

No professional advice

The service does not provide legal, financial, procurement, security, tax, employment, or professional advice. Matching results and provider information are decision support only. You should independently verify important information and seek professional advice where needed.

No warranty

To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, accurate matching, complete provider data, error-free operation, incident-free security, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, the owner and project are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, data-loss, reputational, procurement, business-interruption, or provider-outcome damages arising from the service or from transactions between users and providers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory rights under applicable consumer and data protection law.

Privacy

Personal data is processed according to the Privacy policy and, where relevant, the Cookie policy. Those pages also explain the experimental-stage risk that data may be changed, deleted, or lost despite safeguards.

Changes to these terms

These terms will change as the project changes. We may update them by publishing a new version on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms, subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law, except where mandatory laws in your country or region require otherwise. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Before escalating a dispute, contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it pragmatically. For the launch period, legal contact is centralized through goodfit.eu and mail.goodfit.eu across all Goodfit domains.
